Have you ever heard yourself say “Part of me feels this, but another part of me feels that...”?

That’s because we are all contain parts. We have vulnerable and often hurting parts, and we have parts that work hard to protect those hurting parts.  Sometimes our protective parts speak apparently unkind words to us or cause us to run away, hide or try to help us to forget about the things that hurt us or make us feel unsafe in ways that are often harmful and feed shame and guilt.

I am a fully qualified BACP accredited counsellor, ACC and BAAF member and on the national voluntary register of counsellors and psychotherapists.

I have worked with many people from all walks of life addressing a multitude of hurts and blockages.  If you are willing to give it a try and to commit to the journey, I can work with you to help you to overcome your hurts and your anxieties and to have a healthier relationship with yourself and the world around you.

Methodology

I would classify myself an integrative therapist with a person-centred approach and strong Gestalt influences specialising in Internal Family Systems and attachment.

Depending on the particular circumstances I will draw on my significant experience of TA, NLP, IFS and creative play to facilitate awareness and change. Don’t let the terminology scare you though. The important thing is that you feel safe and comfortable and know that there is no funny stuff involved.
